PlanMyLift Privacy Policy
This policy explains how PlanMyLift handles your data.
The short version
PlanMyLift has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Your content stays on your device and in your personal iCloud. We do not sell your data or store your content on our servers. Some data is processed transiently when you use AI features or contact support, as described below.
What we collect
We have no user accounts and no sign-up, and we (the developer) cannot see your content. Your data is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your personal iCloud under your Apple ID, which is inaccessible to us.
AI features
When you use AI features, the content needed to fulfil your request is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI provider — currently Anthropic's Claude API — through a secure proxy. We may use other equivalent providers in future; the provider currently in use is always named here. This content is used only to generate the response, is not used to train AI models, and is not stored by Dorji Labs after the response is returned. The provider may retain it transiently (up to 30 days) for safety and abuse-prevention under its commercial terms. Requests are authenticated with Apple App Attest and carry no user identity. If you do not use AI features, no content leaves your device for this purpose.
Health-related information
Any injury or fitness information you enter is stored on your device and your private iCloud. It is sent to the AI provider only when you request AI coaching or a generated workout, only with your consent, and never otherwise. You can withdraw consent at any time by not using AI features and by deleting the data in the app. PlanMyLift is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice.
Security and service logs
To operate the service securely, our backend and infrastructure providers (including Cloudflare) process limited request metadata such as IP address, timestamps, device attestation identifiers, subscription-validation status, and usage counters — only to secure the service, prevent abuse, and enforce subscription limits, never for advertising. These logs are retained for up to 30 days.
Third parties
We share data only with the providers that deliver these features: our AI provider (currently Anthropic) and our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare). We do not sell data or use advertising or analytics trackers.
Your rights
Dorji Labs is a trading name of Dorji Holdings Ltd (UK). You control content on your device and iCloud directly. For any personal data our backend processes, UK data-protection law gives you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent. Our lawful bases are your consent (for AI features and any health-related context you choose to send) and our legitimate interests in securing the service and preventing abuse. Email planmylift@dorjilabs.com to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside the UK and EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable data-protection law; other limitations of liability are set out in our Terms of Use.
Children
PlanMyLift is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
